We're Hiring: Afterschool Assistant Garden Educator

Spring is almost here and our programs are growing! Brooklyn Rewilders is looking for enthusiastic, nature-loving people to join our team of Garden Educators in Park Slope and Bed-Stuy, starting this April.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves being outdoors, loves kids, and wants to be part of meaningful, hands-on ecological education. You'll be helping children grow food, explore the garden, cook seasonal ingredients, and discover themselves as part of the living world — right here in Brooklyn.

We'd love to hear from people with experience in gardening, teaching, youth work, or environmental education — but it's not required. What matters most is your enthusiasm, reliability, and care for both children and nature.

Competitive hourly rate, with after-school hours on Wednesdays and/or Thursdays this spring. There's also potential for in-school hours and to grow your hours and responsibilities.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so don't wait — reach out soon!

To express interest, Send us a short note telling us a little about yourself: your experience with children and with nature, gardening, or the environment. Email us at brooklynrewilders@gmail.com.

We can't wait to hear from you. 🌱
